More About Us

Who Are We?

We are a gathering of Christ followers who are trusting in the Spirit to guide us. We desire to be genuine and authentic and readily admit we don’t have it all figured out!  We gather to praise Jesus and to encourage one another. We have people from multiple races, ethnic backgrounds, political persuasions, educational and economical diversity who come together to encourage one another.  Our unity is in Jesus Christ and Him alone.

We don’t have a lot of church programs.  We believe we are all ministers of the Gospel (women, men and children) and are to be His hands and feet to a lost and hurting world. Our focus is to reach out beyond the walls of our building. We emphasize going out from the our weekly church gathering to share Jesus with all whom God brings into our sphere of influence. We join hands and resources with other churches, missions and even secular and government agencies to meet the physical needs of our community and beyond.

We do not have church membership. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ and choose to worship with Olympic View Church, you are welcome to our local church family!

What To Expect:

When you visit Olympic View Church you will encounter people of all ages and backgrounds. The gathering is casual and friendly.  Please feel free to come as you are. We encourage our young people to participate in the service in a myriad of ways, but after the weekly children’s sermon, the younger ones are well cared for and taught by passionate leaders.

We are blessed to have multiple people with musical talent who help us to worship our Lord as we “. . . sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. . .” in a blended service setting. Praying for one another, reading and teaching the Word and sharing of the Lord’s Supper (open to all) are our weekly practices.
